hopen2 is for making plans, not dates. Anyone who treats it like one can be reported.

Is it a dating app?
No. hopen2 is strictly platonic: small groups doing something together. Profiles show a first name, a photo, a line about you, your interests and what you're like – nothing else.
What if nothing's on near me?
Post what you're Hopen to do. It takes a minute, and people nearby will see it. You can also look at what's on in a nearby town.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. When you host, add friends who aren't on hopen2. They take spots in the group, and your check-in covers them.
Do I need to download anything?
No. hopen2 works in your phone's browser. Add it to your Home Screen and it opens like an app.
Does it cost anything?
No. hopen2 is free to use – joining, hosting and chatting included.
Are you a business that wants to create events on hopen2?
